How can I find my ring size?
To find your ring size, find an old ring of yours or go to be sized at your local jewellery store and be sure that you are measured by the American standard.

Do you have gemologists and goldsmiths on your team?
Yes. YSJ has gemologists and goldsmiths on our team to provide our customers with the best craftsmanship possible.

How do I place an order with YSJ online?
To order from YSJ, simply add the item you would like to purchase to your shopping cart, continue shopping or proceed to checkout, we process your payment through paypal to ensure the best security, and complete your purchase.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal transactions.

Do you offer financing on purchases?
We provide in-store layaway Plan for purchases over $1,000. For example, a $1,500 purchase could be divided into 3 equal payments of $500/month for a customer. During the layaway process, we will place the item in our vault and ensure the item can no longer be purchased by others. Once the item has been fully paid off, you can arrange with us for pick-up. This service is only available in store.

Can you help me make a purchase for birthdays/birthstone/anniversaries or simply put, I just need a personal expert?
This is what we do best and you can access our experts at no additional charge, they will assist with choosing the right stones and special occasion jewelry piece for you and your loved one in mind. We have been doing this for 25 years now, we are confident we can find what you are looking for. If not, then we can make a custom designer item for you.

I’m having an issue completing my order; can you help?

Where do you ship?
We ship within Canada nationally and to the USA. For international shipments when available, we require that you have a verified account with Paypal. How can we determine the cost of shipping?
Included on our website is an auto shipping calculator provided by FedEx to help you to determine shipping costs to your location. Please remember that international customers are responsible for any duties and customs charged on purchases by their respective countries.

Why FedEx and not local postal services?
Because the item you are purchasing from us is of such high value and difficult to replace, we want to ensure you have the best shipping service, with customer support, and best insurance coverage during transit.

How can I track my order?
Attached to each order, YSJ provides a FedEx tracking number with each purchase. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on the location of the orders and based on FedEx estimated days which are out of our control. We ship immediately after your made to order item has been finished and gone through final inspection with our goldsmiths.

Can I change or cancel my order?

How long will my purchase take to deliver?
Shipping times vary depending on the item’s craftsmanship and the delivery destination. After payments have been processed, YSJ will take 7 to 14 business days to make the jewelry piece, then send a confirmation email and tracking number from FedEx as soon it has been shipped. FedEx will provide an estimated delivery time.

What if my item is lost during shipping?
At YSJ we take every step necessary to ensure the safe delivery of all purchases. In any loss, all items are insured to protect the customer.

What if my item is damaged?
Customer satisfaction at is our signature guarantee. If your item is damaged upon delivery, we allow for returns and ensure that your order is replaced and shipped promptly. Please let us know within 14 days after delivery if something is not right. Each purchase order at YSJ is fully insured during delivery to ensure customer guarantee.

Returns/Exchange:

How do I return an item?
Please contact us first and we will provide a Return merchandise authorization (RMA) number with return instructions to the customer. Do not mail us the item without an RMA number and all items must be insured when mailing it back. Please call us at 1-844-LoveYSJ (568.3975) to begin the return process.

What’s your return and exchange policy?
We offer returns and exchanges up to 14 days after the item has been delivered. There is no additional fee to exchange, we can only exchange items of similar value. Please call us at 1-844-LoveYSJ (568.3975) to make arrangements. Likewise, before anything can be finalized we do require our goldsmiths to do another inspection of the jewelry piece that you are sending back to us to make sure no damage has occurred.

Do you include shipping insurance on purchases?
Yes. Every purchase is insured to make sure that each customer safely receives his or her purchase order. We do not provide  shipping insurance for return items.

What is your warranty policy?
At YSJ, we ensure that any manufacturer defective item will be repaired or replaced a new one within the first 6 months. We do not cover theft, disappearance, loss or damage other than that incurred in normal wear and only diamonds in their original settings that have been inspected and repaired by YSJ goldsmiths are covered under this warranty.

If I have my own diamonds, can I order your jewelry without a set diamond?
Yes. Let us know which style you like. We will provide an estimate and supply a semi-mount for you. Gold rings without diamonds in them can be purchased, please contact us directly. What is the quality of your diamonds? 
At YSJ, We choose our diamonds in providing the best quality and meeting our valued customer’s needs. All of our solitaire diamonds can come with a certificate, either a GIA or in-store certification. Where are your diamonds and stones sourced? 
YSJ diamonds are conflict-free and solitaire diamonds are purchased from major diamond institutions that follow the Kimberley Accord. Many of our solitaire diamonds are sourced from Canadian mines and will come with certification of proof, value and serial number approved through the Canadian Government.

What’s the difference between cultured and farmed pearls?
Cultured and farmed pearls are the same. They are pearls that have the very same makeup as natural occurring, wild pearls; however have been raised by a farmer under controlled conditions. We strive to make sure the farming methods are ecologically safe and at a high standard.

Are your gemstones enhanced?
At YSJ, we carry both genuine gemstones and enhanced gemstones. All gemstones that are enhanced will be clearly indicated in our product description.
